Our mission

Stolen work, fake accounts and counterfeit listings spread fast — and most creators and businesses are left to fight platforms alone. We stand on the rights holder's side: documenting the misuse, filing the strongest case each platform allows, and staying with it until the platform decides.

What we do

Protection services for your name, brand and work

Pick the problem that matches yours. Every service starts the same way — we review your proof first, then file the strongest case the platform allows.

Trademark enforcement & takedowns

Another channel, page or seller using your registered logo, name or brand? We prepare and file the trademark complaint with your registration proof.

  • Logo & brand-name misuse
  • Counterfeit / lookalike listings
  • Channel & page infringements
You'll need: trademark certificate or registration details, and the infringing link.

Imposter & fake account removal

Fake profiles pretending to be you, your business or someone you represent. We file through the platform's official impostor process and handle resubmissions when an ID is rejected.

  • Fake personal & business profiles
  • Impersonation of staff or founders
  • Resubmission with clearer ID when needed
You'll need: the fake profile link, and a clear ID showing name, photo & date of birth.

Copyright & content removal

Your video, photo, music, writing or design re-uploaded without permission. We file copyright removal requests link by link, with proof of ownership.

  • Re-uploaded videos & reels
  • Stolen photos, posts & designs
  • Repeat infringer follow-up
You'll need: links to your original work and to each infringing copy.

Counterfeit & piracy link removal

Fake products using your brand, and pirated copies of your work sold or shared as downloads and streams. We build the link list and file removal with each host, marketplace and platform.

  • Counterfeit product listings
  • Pirated downloads, streams & file-host links
  • Lookalike shops & seller pages
You'll need: proof the brand or work is yours, your genuine listing if you have one, and each fake / pirated link.

Search engine de-indexing

Removing a page is only half the job if it still appears in search. Where a removal or a search policy applies, we request de-indexing so infringing links drop out of search results.

  • De-indexing requests for removed pages
  • Search removal for infringing / impersonating links
  • Follow-up when a dead link still shows in results
You'll need: the search result link, the page link behind it, and your ownership proof.

Monitoring & alerts

Ongoing watch for new misuse of your name, marks and content — with an alert when something new appears, so a removed account doesn't simply reappear under a new handle next week.

  • Alerts for new fake accounts & pages
  • New piracy & counterfeit links
  • Periodic protection report
You'll need: your official handles, brand names, marks and content to watch.

Memorialisation & digital legacy

Help for families: requesting memorialisation of a loved one's account, and dealing respectfully with their profiles after a death.

  • Facebook memorialisation requests
  • Guidance on proof & documents
  • Status tracking with the platform
You'll need: the profile link and the proof the platform asks for.

Privacy & reputation protection

Private information, impersonating reviews or harmful content posted about you or your business — assessed case by case against platform policy.

  • Doxxing & private-info posts
  • Impersonation in reviews
  • Policy-based removal requests
You'll need: the exact links and a short explanation of the harm.

Digital asset audit

A structured review of where your content, brand and identity are exposed online — so you know what is out there before deciding what to file, monitor or leave alone.

  • Where your work & brand appear
  • Fake accounts & lookalike pages found
  • Clear list of recommended next steps
You'll need: your official links, handles and the work or marks you want reviewed.

Not sure where your work is being used?

Start with an audit. We map the misuse first — copies, fake listings, impersonating accounts — then recommend only the filings that are actually worth making.

  • ✓ Your originals and official channels listed first
  • ✓ Infringing copies and fake accounts documented with links
  • ✓ Each finding matched to the right removal route
  • ✓ No filing made without your authorisation
Who we protect

Built for the people whose work gets taken

Different clients, same problem: someone else is using what you made, your name, or your brand — and the platform needs a properly evidenced case before it acts.

Creators

Creators & channels

Video, music, photography and posts re-uploaded by copycat channels, plus fake profiles trading on a creator's name and audience.

Publishing

Authors & publishers

Pirated copies of books, courses and written work shared as downloads, and listings selling work the seller has no right to sell.

Brands

Brands & online sellers

Counterfeit listings, lookalike shops and logo misuse that divert your customers and put your reputation behind someone else's product.

Media

Media & production

Clips, programmes and catalogues re-posted or streamed without a licence, tracked link by link across platforms and file hosts.

Business

Businesses facing impersonation

Fake pages and profiles pretending to be your company, your staff or your founders — filed through the official impostor process.

Families

Families & estates

Memorialisation requests and respectful handling of a loved one's accounts after a death, with guidance on the proof platforms ask for.

How it works

From first link to final decision

No platform passwords are ever needed. Cases are filed through official forms, and you always know which stage yours is at.

1 Send

Send the case

Use the intake form below with the infringing link, your contact email, and what the content is.

2 Review

Evidence review

We check your proof — trademark, ID or original work — and tell you honestly if it's strong enough to file, or what's missing.

3 File

Filing

We submit through the platform's official complaint or impostor process, in the correct name and capacity.

4 Report

Tracking & report

We follow the platform's reply, handle resubmission if evidence is rejected, and report the outcome to you.

Before you send

What to send — and what never to send

Most rejections happen for one reason: the platform couldn't read the proof. Clear evidence is the difference between a removal and a refusal.

✓

Send this

  • ✓The exact link — profile, video, channel, post or listing to be removed.
  • ✓Proof of ownership — trademark certificate, original files / original post link, or business proof.
  • ✓Clear ID, when impersonation is reported — name, photo and date of birth visible, well-lit, nothing covered.
  • ✓Correct capacity — say clearly whether you are the person affected, or filing as their authorised representative.
  • ✓A contact email you check — platform decisions are sent by email.
✕

Never send this

  • ✕Your platform password — legitimate filings never need it. We will never ask for it.
  • ✕Blurry, dark or cropped ID photos — these are the most common reason platforms reject a case.
  • ✕Someone else's document in your name — a name mismatch between reporter and ID causes rejection.
  • ✕Expired ID, if you have a current one — use an unexpired passport or licence where possible.
Honest outcome note: filing is done properly and tracked for you, but the final decision always belongs to the platform. A submission does not guarantee removal.
Authorisation & limits

We only file cases we're authorised to file

Removal systems exist to protect rights owners — not to silence critics or competitors. Every case is checked against this before anything is submitted.

✓

Authorisation — who can instruct us

  • ✓The rights owner — the person or company that owns the copyright, trademark, brand or account being misused.
  • ✓An authorised representative — filing openly in that capacity, with the owner's permission. Never filed as if they were the owner.
  • ✓A family member, for memorialisation — with the proof the platform asks for in that situation.
  • ✓Proof is verified first — if ownership or authorisation can't be shown, we will say so and won't file.
✕

Limits — what this service is not

  • ✕Outcomes are not guaranteed — platforms and search engines decide every case. A correct, well-evidenced filing improves the chance; it does not decide it.
  • ✕Not legal advice — this site and our takedown service provide platform enforcement support, not legal advice, unless we state otherwise in writing for a specific matter. Matters needing advice or court action require a licensed attorney.
  • ✕No false or inflated claims — we won't file a copyright or trademark claim for content you don't own or that doesn't infringe.
  • ✕No passwords, no hacking, no shortcuts — only official platform and search-engine processes are used.

Common questions

Common questions, answered plainly

Does submitting a case guarantee removal?

No — and any service that guarantees it is not being honest with you. We file the strongest, correctly-evidenced case through official channels and track it, but the platform makes the final decision.

Why was an ID rejected as “not enough information”?

Usually because the photo was blurry, dark, cropped, or the name on the ID didn't match the name on the report. A flat, well-lit photo or scan on a light background — with name, photo and date of birth visible — gives the best chance. Sometimes a different, unexpired document works better than resending the same one.

Can you file for someone else?

Yes, as an authorised representative — but it must be filed in that capacity, honestly. Filing as the person themselves when you are their representative can cause rejection and problems with the platform.

Do you need my Facebook / YouTube password?

Never. Official trademark, copyright and impostor processes do not require your password. Do not share it with anyone claiming to do removals.

Is Attorney Protection a law firm?

Attorney Protection is a private company providing digital protection and platform enforcement support: preparing evidence, filing platform complaints and tracking cases. Where a matter needs formal legal advice or court representation, that requires a licensed attorney in the relevant country, and we will say so plainly.

How will I hear about the outcome?

Platforms reply by email to the contact address on the filing. We track the case and report each stage to you — submitted, in review, and the platform's decision when it arrives.

A page was removed but still shows on Google — can that be fixed?

Often, yes. That is what de-indexing is for: once a page is removed, or where a search policy applies, a removal request can be made to the search engine so the link drops out of results. If the page itself is still live and infringing, the page usually has to be dealt with first.

Do I have to be the rights owner to contact you?

You can contact us as the owner, or openly as their authorised representative — for example for a family member, a client, or your own company. What we won't do is file a case in someone else's name or capacity without their authorisation.

Have a link that shouldn't exist?

For general questions, email Info@attorneyprotection.org. For a live case, use the enforcement inbox or the form above with the link, the platform, and what you own — and we'll reply with whether it's fileable and what proof is still needed.

Send links and a short description first — do not send passwords, and only send IDs or certificates after we confirm your case by reply. Outcomes are decided by the platform or search engine in each case and are not guaranteed.
